InnoComm and MediaTek Showcase Real-Time Edge AI Interactive Experience from Gesture to Gameplay at COMPUTEX 2026

At COMPUTEX 2026, InnoComm unveiled a new Edge AI interactive demo that allows users to control the classic Tetris game through real-time gesture recognition, demonstrating the practical implementation of AI vision and edge computing in interactive applications.

MediaTek Genio 360 and OSM-SOG36 Platform

The demo is powered by the MediaTek Genio 360 platform and developed on InnoComm’s OSM-SOG36 module platform. Combining high-performance AI inference, low-power design, and embedded system integration expertise, the solution delivers responsive and seamless Edge AI interaction experiences.

Using a camera to capture user gestures in real time, the system can instantly recognize movements and synchronize gameplay controls, highlighting the potential of the MediaTek Genio series for AI Vision, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and intelligent interactive applications.

Edge AI Applications and Future Development

Beyond the single-player experience, InnoComm is also developing a real-time multiplayer battle mode. By leveraging multi-user gesture recognition and edge AI computing technologies, the platform aims to create more immersive and interactive smart entertainment experiences. The technology can further extend into smart retail, interactive digital signage, edutainment, and intelligent space applications.
